Yves Bonnemain, one of the founding partners of CANTON-Consulting, has been bringing the company from the start both his personal view and his practical market knowledge in means of payment, as well as his awareness of the overall economy of the sector, his practical experience in the fields of Information Systems architecture, trading activity management, security, and regulatory compliance.
Within CANTON-Consulting’s team, Yves Bonnemain is especially called upon when dealing with matters regarding the technical, commercial, and economic aspects of payment services, organizational and IT features, as well as regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering.
Yves Bonnemain (born in 1953), graduated from Bordeaux’s IEP and holds a Masters in Economics. His nearly 30-year-long career in the banking world has led him to the General Inspection Department of Société Générale at Crédit Mutuel, followed by Groupe CCF and finally Groupe Caisses d’Épargne.
As a member of the Management Board in charge of Organization, Computer Science, and Back-offices within Crédit Commercial du Sud Ouest (from 1990 to 1999) then within Caisse d’Epargne du Val de France Orléanais (from 1999 to 2005), he lead important systems evolutions and migrations, (restructuration of activities) as well as adaptations to new regulatory measures and dealt with their operational implications (Euro, regulatory compliance, etc…).
Prior to joining CANTON-Consulting, he has, since 2005, headed the Banking Activities Management of the Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Épargne and, as such, been in charge of the entire Trade activities (high amounts and bulk payments in Euro and other currencies) for Groupe Caisses d’Épargne.
